1. Habits of routines to leave behind in 2025 + December
Hi!!! I said I was going to do this December journaling setting intentions for 2026. It is not 31 days because on the calendar 'Sundays' are rest days. Anyways, today's prompt is a good one because I do have a couple of ones I do want to stop doing and what healthy routine I can put in its place. I am sleepy so I am going to make sure I re-read this tmmrw :-)
- Not cleaning up right after I cook. I have started to clean as I go so I do not feel like lazy and not want to do it anymore.
- Not accepting my feelings as true. What I mean by that is I have a habit of glossing over everything or making things that do cause me pain or sadness as "it's whatever. It is what it is." I am addressing my issues when they hurt not 5 days later or whatever.
- Take a breathe before I speak especially if it is something that offended me or is causing me tension. Count to 10..9...8...7...6...5...4..3..2..1..... and then speak
- Clean my closet ugh. (no need to explain for sure).
I have created better workout routines and I am working on creating better financial habits by not going above my means, not over consuming makeup, not going out or ordering food every week or day, cooking more and buying groceries that make I will be able to make dinner.
