There is always a chance to begin again

 There is always a chance to be refreshed, revived, revitalized, awakened, overcome, restore, resurrect, breath new life into, rekindle, rejuvenate,  reestablish, restate, restart, transform who you are. I read an article about Bon Iver it was about his newest album and about why he shifted his sound to match more of how he feels instead of the persona that he portrayed. 

Something that struck with him was his friend saying how about he tries no more "defeatism in 2025". He said hearing that sparked something within him that he does not need to be this "sad" boy which was an image he used to protect himself. It got me thinking what to I do to "protect" myself? What am I "protecting" myself from? Why do I feel the need to have an image that is the opposite of who I want to be and who am I?  I think reading this article made me realize I am not enjoying the way I am perceived and I want to change that. 

Also I set up my first initial therapist appointment IT IS TIMEEE LET'S GOOOOOO. I am excited that I am starting this journey and that I can say that I am doing something that I planned on my goal list. This is a very short blog because I need to continue working on my modules. Additionally this mercury retrograde is short circuiting my brain and making me realize not every one deserves my energy and that I am ready to shed some skin as we enter into the New Year.
