Write about children you plan to have, and what you wish for them. & TV shows??

One day I had a dream that I had two little girls with afro puffs in their hair and I picked them up from school. They were giggling and talking and they were excited to see me. They felt like home. I hope for my future children I feel like home no matter what age they are. I would want my children to experience life through an optimistic lens and to sense hope in times of sadness. I hope when they are sad they know they can come to me. When I have to fuss (or correct their behavior) I hope they know I am doing to because I love them and want them to be productive members of society one day. I hope they know if they want to be a painter, sculptor, engineer, doctor, librarian, lawyer etc that I will support them no matter what. I hope they know the best from of expression is self expression so I will ensure that they are focusing on not only STEM but art as well. I hope my future children know that I am always thinking of them even now and I often ask the universe to let me see them because I love them already. I hope to have a home full of laughter and that despite our differences in personality or interests we still mesh well. I hope that I am taking the right paths so they can experience and have a better life than I did with more opportunities and experiences.

I think we are still in the introduction stages where I need to list or discuss my favorite things. I am sure that I have said "This is my fav show" soo many times. But I wanted to keep it light today.

  • Murder She Wrote
  • Seinfeld
  • Bewitched
  • I Dream of Jeannie
  • Reservation Dogs
  • Law and Order (original only and up to a certain season)
  • Golden Girls
  • Home Movies
  • Bob's Burger
  • Scooby Doo
  • Courage the Cowardly Dog
  • Ed, Edd, and Eddy
  • X-files
  • Twin Peaks
  • Hey Arnold
  • Sex in the City
  • Shrinking
  • Trying
  • Unsolved Mysteries
  • Real Housewives (not RHOM or RHONJ)
  • Outer Limits
  • Alfred Hitchcock Presents
  • Adventure Time
I think I hit every decade. I think the two most meaningful shows are Shirking and Reservation Dogs. I love those shows that either have profound lessons in small things. Or for Reservation Dogs it was nice to see Native American culture. There is this book that my professor used for an example I wish I would have written it down. I think it was about space and time and how she recommends it because it allows us a chance to see how time is perceived different for everyone.

Also I think I might have touched on this upcoming book sale that they have in October this year and I am keeping a track of the books I am looking to buy. I added more books to the list and wanted to list them.
  • Hamlet
  • Books about art (so I can get to know more art eras...yes Futurism art is included)
  • Slaughterhouse Five - Kurt Vonnegut
  • Cat's Cradle - Kurt Vonnegut
  • Charles Bukowski books (not sure who he is, but I know I want to get to know more of him)
  • a Sociology book

Okay I think that is a good substantive list so far. I want to make sure I don't over buy books but I cannot help myself I want to read everything, know everything and understand every perspective even the ones I may not agree with.

Idk if this blog is long or short but I think I have to end it here because I want to go to bed before a certain time.

"I construct my memories with my present. I am lost, abandoned in the present. I try in vain to rejoin the past: I cannot escape." - Jean Paul Sartre

** I might get some books by him as well but something tells me I would need sparknotes too.

P.S I did Hotworkx today and I seen the prettiest sunset but I wanted to just admire so I did not take a photo.
